HELP Martina
Martina is a 16 year old girl and 2 years ago she was completely by chance, diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. As she was constantly feeling tired, weak and losing weight, her parents went to the doctors with her: diagnosing her with Acute myeloid leukemia. Since that time, they have been searching for a bone marrow donor for over two years, without which Martina will not survive. Finally, a donor was found.
Treatment program is extremely complex and demands a whole team of experts, as well as the fact that Martina needs to be operated in a specialized medical center abroad.
For this surgery, the family needs approximately 250.000 EUR, which it does not have.
Martina’s father works as a construction worker, working two jobs, while her mother Irena is constantly by her side. They barely make ends meet.
So far, the family managed to collect about 35.000 EUR from relatives, friends and other kind persons.

Martina’s condition is worsening by day and her whole and relatives are completely desperate. They fear that Martina might end up as Silvana Novak: a girl who passed away due to the inability to finance the extremely expensive operation needed for the transplantation.
